I am a freshman at Concord University, and I am a Film major. I am certified to work in the Television Production field, and I plan on graduating in spring of 2012
Experience
Although I have never officially tutored, I constantly help my friends to understand information that they have trouble understanding, and have helped several pass classes they would have failed. My SAT scores were 660 in both Math and English, and 600 on the writing portion. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy teaching others and helping people to understand their subjects better. In high school, I took Algebra I and II, Algebra II with Trigonometry, and Geometry, and in the past fall semester at Concord, I took Math 103. I took conceptual physics in high school and many of the students would come to me instead of the teacher with their questions. I took spanish lessons from age 5-9, and started taking classes again in 7th grade up until 11th grade, and I spent two weeks in Mexico this past summer, which I feel has greatly added to my knowledge of the Spanish language and culture.
