I love history, and I would love to help get people more enthused about history, and help them to understand it better. When I got to college, I struggled with my classes at first. But I got a tutor and have improved in my study habits and concept of everything. Nothing feels better than to understand a subject and know that you can do it, and to have someone there to back you up. I've been passionately involved with band since middle school, acting as section leader several times and being selected to participate in multiple honor bands. In college I am active in both the band and choir. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a tree hugger at times. I have always dreamed of a career in animal science, and learning as much about zoology as I could growing up. I am hoping to be a career as a Park Ranger. I made a 24 composite score on my ACT in High School. I was on the honor roll in the National Honor Society. Over the summer before my senior year, I was chosen to attend the Governor's Honor Academy of West Virginia.
